Arunachal Pradesh Police invites application form Male Indian citizen for filling up the following permanent post of 1760 Constable in both AAPB & IRB unit.
Name of the post: – Constable
No. of Vacancies: – 1760 (Gen-352, APST-1267, Ex-servicemen-141)
Note: – No. of vacancies shown under category of APST will be filled only by domicile of respective district.
Age Limit: – Candidates should attain 17 years of minimum age but not exceed 21 years of max age. 05 years of upper age relaxation will be applicable for APST & SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualification: – 10th or equivalent exam should be passed by applicants.
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month
Physical Standard: –
Applicants should not be 165 cm tall; however 05 cm & 08 cm concession will be applicable for APST and TIRAP / Changlang category candidates. Chest should not be less than 79 cm in normal condition, 05 cm of expansion is needed.
Selection Process: –
The process of selection begins after checking documents of applicants and measurement of Physical stature; after then Physical Efficiency Test followed by Written Test & Interview will be held. At last Medical exam of candidates to be done. It is required each successive steps should be cleared by candidates before gaining final nod of selection.
Application Fee: –
A treasury Challan of Rs. 40/- (Rs. 10/- for SC/ST) to be enclosed with application as application fee. Challan should be endorsed to ‘Assistant Inspector General of Police (E), PHQ, Itanagar under Head of Accounts 0055 Police’.
How to apply: -
Candidates interested as well as eligible have to approach their district headquarter of police for getting prescribed applications. Attested copy of certificates in support of Age Proof, Caste, Educational Qualification, Domicile are needed to attach with duly filled applications. Photographs of candidates and application fee to also be enclosed with application.
Application complete in all respect should be sent either by Ordinary Post or by hand at respective district Police headquarter of Arunachal Police.
